Lotus Design/Build
2nd Place Design/Build Competition AIA National Architecture week 2012
Lotus is a mobile interactive installation designed to encourage impromptu performances on Tulane’s campus and around uptown New Orleans. During AIA’s National Architecture Week, 10 teams of Tulane School of Architecture students had 5 days to design and build an interactive stage that could be used during Mardi Gras, when the population of the city explodes. Our team was selected for the second-place prize.
Part of a design/build team working with wood, metal, canvas, wiring, and lighting.
